Stacy Kauk - Head of Sustainability - Shopify

Stacy’s the Head of Sustainability at Shopify where she works to ensure millions of merchants, consumers and climate entrepreneurs work together in the fight against climate change. 

Stacy leads Shopify’s Sustainability Fund, committing $33M to 28 tech-driven companies to accelerate carbon removal solutions. She also led Shopify’s decision to build Frontier, a $925M advance market commitment for permanent carbon removal alongside Stripe, Alphabet, Meta and McKinsey Sustainability.

Stacy serves on the advisory board of CaMRI and previously led the Ozone Layer Protection Program at the Canadian Government. She’s represented Canada for the Stockholm Convention and Montreal Protocol, and holds a BEng and MPPA from Carleton University.
